Aircraft Leasing - Legal Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a Legal Assistant for a aircraft leasing company based in Dublin.
Requirements:
- A bachelors degree in law or another related field
- Previous experience working in a corporate, financial or legal setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in business English
- An ability to draft in a clear, concise and accurate manner
- Meticulous attention to detail and to the overall quality of the final work product
- Strong organisational skills, keep track of demanding deadlines, and manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
- High proficiency in Microsoft products
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing transactional management and support in relation to all aircraft leasing, financing, servicing, sale and purchase and general corporate transactions entered into by the company, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalising transaction and other ancillary documents, preparing and otherwise dealing with all closing deliverables and other conditions precedent, and general management of the document execution process
- Providing general support and assistance with all contentious and non-contentious matters of the company transaction, and indexing, recording and filing such documents
- Dealing with airlines, financiers, export credit agencies, aircraft buyers and sellers, other aircraft lessors, manufacturers, servicers, maintenance providers and other industry participants
- Dealing with and managing external corporate service providers as well as legal, tax and other professional advisors in all relevant jurisdictions
- Providing general support and assistance to the Legal, Compliance and Transaction Management Department
- Ensuring the timely receipt of all relevant documents following the completion of a transaction, and indexing, recording and filing such documents
