My client is a high-profile multinational which is looking to hire a Technical Support Engineer. This is a contract role to start with opportunities to go permanent.
Responsibilities?- Works directly with internal teams on post integration issues to provide technical support, consulting and best practices.
- Technical Expert identifying and taking the lead on all complex technical issues which may arise.
- Installation and configuration of payment APIs, and commerce products.
- Conducts test scenarios for technical issues with code, software, hardware, devices and endpoints.
- Communicates technical issues to merchants and internal departments.
- Identifies irregularities in functionality and unexpected behaviours with products and services.
- Develops in-depth technical information for distribution to merchants.
- Develops and conducts demos of product functionality.
- Participates in the development of tools, systems and processes to improve product supportability
- Ability to diagnose and identify issues with API
- Code, Services, and Network connectivity.
- Conducts new feature or subsystem projects as needed
Requirements- 3+ years Technical Experience
- BS, BSEE, CS or other relevant technical degree required
- Software Application Debugging and troubleshooting experience
- Experienced in two or more of: Java, C, C++, C#, VB.NET, PHP, ColdFusion, Perl, Ruby, Python
- One of the following: HTML, JavaScript, NVP, JSON, XML
- Web Services, SOAP, REST
- Linux/Unix commands understanding
- SQL Commands understanding
- Solid Understanding of Firewalls, proxy, HTTP Errors, server-side errors, TCP/IP
