- Description
Experienced Finance Manager/Accountant/Analyst required for 4 months, to help with tasks related to a European entity consolidation project (mergers).
- Review of Financial Statements, responsible for the overall review of the FY20 Bridge (converting US GAAP figures to local GAAP), for 4-5 legal entities
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP and statutory requirements
- Verify the quality of financial transactions and year-end balances on the BS and P&L
- Explain YoY variances and main drivers behind, via GL analytics of entries and Journal Entry backup during the year
- Review tax computations (Corporate income tax, VAT)
- Review Intercompany Recharges based on agreements
- Ledger reconciliation as per predesigned template and requirements. Scope: 6-8 legal entities Ensure all statutory adjustments are reflected in lead corporate ledger where necessary, by agreed timeline
- Help with Project specific deliverables
- Gather input as per PMO request (analyse GL balances before entity mergers)
- Review equity positions for correctness (ownership structure, correct trading partner in SAP, tie-back to Share registers) Review provisions, accruals, Deferred Tax Assets for merger accounting treatment
Requirements: Qualified Accountant with 7-10 yrs of experience SAP FI ERP system user experience Experience with US GAAP to local GAAP conversion Advanced excel skills Experience with upstream merger (subsidiary to parent) transaction and related accounting requirements is a plus.
