Sales Manager FMCG - €40k
Our client is a leading independent FMCG company and is currently recruiting a Sales Manager to join their sales team.
The role is field based, covering Dublin, Meath & Louth (with occasional travel throughout the UK and ROI).
What you will do:
- You will be personally managing a geographic area of selected customers
- Make a minimum daily target of site visits to grow your territory sales along with meeting customers' training needs
- Offer coaching and training support to improve results and sales
- Sales calls to existing customers to promote and increase company's sales
- Create growth action plans for key customers to explore further customer management efficiencies and comprehensively review every stocking opportunity across the territory ledger
- Business Development through prospecting of potential customers from cold calling and creating networking opportunities to generating sales leads
What you will need:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales role focused on delivering excellent customer service
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Customer focused personality and excellent selling skills
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent numerical skills and a good level of IT skills is a must
