Aircraft Leasing Procurement & Material Management
A well established and rapid growing aircraft leasing client is looking for an experienced Procurement professional to join their Dublin team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up a procurement system for new purchase aircraft and lease transitions.
Responsibilities:
- Set up of procurement system for new purchase aircraft and lease transitions
- Drive procurement activities cross functionally within the business
- Set up PO issue and administration systems
- Set up appropriate payment approval systems
- Manage a BFE/SFE programme with OEMs
- Materials management
- Management of purchasing budget
- Work closely and build long term relationships with vendors, MROs and OEMs
- Ensure supply deadlines are met without delivery delays
- Sign off of all purchasing activities
- Work with the business in the recruitment of additional procurement team members
- Manage the training and development of new members of the team
Requirements:
- Expert in the field of aircraft procurement and materials management
- Ability to set up a procurement system
- Ability to build and grow a procurement team as required
- Prior experience at management level within a procurement/purchasing/materials management team within the aircraft leasing industry
- People management skills advantageous
- Proven track record building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent PC skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
