Description

We are recruiting for a growth aircraft and engine lessor which has a requirement for a VP Technical in Portfolio Management. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing lessor which has a focus on narrowbody Airbus and Boeing aircraft as well as aircraft engines.

Responsibilities:


  • Day to day lease portfolio management including maintenance reserves claim management
  • Management of pre-purchase asset/lease review, inspection and records due diligence of prospective assets.
  • Technical analyses and modelling of maintenance projections of currently owned and prospective assets to enable strategic decisions
  • As a member of the deal team, assist in negotiation of LOIs and LAs with a main focus on delivery / return conditions and mitigation of risk.
  • Management of consultants, and completion of mid-term aircraft audits and inspections.
  • Arrange, control, negotiate and ensure on time aircraft (re)-deliveries within the approved budget.
  • Support the deal team wherever needed to achieve successful deal making.
  • Advise on the suitability of maintenance facilities, subcontractors and consultants.
  • Management of the lease portfolio IT system (CMS).
  • Project management of B737-800 P2F conversions across multiple freighter conversions sites:
  • Assist with work scope development to ensure compliance with delivery conditions.
  • Liaise with MRO’s and ancillary supporting servicers.
  • Management of on-site technical consultants.

  • Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation / Engineering or Operations Management
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience working in the aircraft leasing industry or 12 years work experience in aviation of which some years within a commercial aircraft leasing.
  • Experience in engine maintenance and shop visit management.
  • Experience with aircraft check planning and line/base maintenance.
