- Description
My client, a leading aircraft leasing firm, is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their Procurement team in Dublin. This is a unique opportunity to join a major lessor.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure that payments are made on time and credit limits are not exceeded.
- Ensure all invoices are entered into the Procurement system and payments are made in accordance with the payment terms set out by the supplier.
- Ensure that the Procurement team are regularly updated on supplier accounts at risk of credit hold due to non-payment of invoices.
- Maintain a log of all invoices received.
- Monitor accounting systems to determine accounts are being maintained effectively and provides information on accounting practices to auditors.
- Assist with the maintaining of monthly accruals and liquidity planning
- Assistance with system development, including enhancement of controls and reporting capabilities.
- Assist the New Aircraft Team with pre-delivery payments to Airbus and Boeing
Requirements
- At least one year’s in a similar finance function with an aircraft leasing company with procurement/technical experience.
- 3rd Level Qualification
- Expert knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to work on own initiative
This will be starting as a contract but with excellent opportunities to convert to a permanent position
