- Description
We are currently seeking a highly – motivated, focussed, and resourceful individual to join a rapid growth aircraft leasing platform. Based in Dublin and reporting to the General Counsel, the successful candidate will help lead the Irish compliance and corporate governance functions in achieving their objectives and will play a key role in providing compliance and corporate governance support.
Key responsibilities
- Development, implementation and keeping up to date of internal compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory, compliance and corporate governance requirements.
- Review and on-boarding of clients and prospective transaction structures for compliance with the company’s internal policies.
- Co-ordinating board meetings including agenda preparation, board resolutions and related matters across the platform.
- Liaising with corporate service providers in various jurisdictions to establish and manage special purpose companies.
- Responsible for reviewing, collating, and keeping up-to-date client due diligence documentation e.g., KYC/AML, sanctions, GDPR requirements.
- Ensure that all regulatory filings are completed on time including AML, EMIR, CRO and CCR.
- Ensure general compliance with Irish legal requirements across the portfolio of Irish entities engaged in aircraft leasing.
- Working with the General Counsel to identify key compliance risks facing the business and to provide compliance training and briefings to management and staff.
- Participate in aircraft leasing working groups relating to compliance on behalf of the platform.
- Liaise with internal teams, external advisors and auditors as required to achieve compliance objectives.
- Work with Contracts Management team to ensure all lease and other contracts are recorded accurately on the lease management system and collate and manage original documentation and other conditions precedent.
- Work with the Contracts Management team in relation to the setting up of Irish SPVs in structured finance and aircraft leasing transactions.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a compliance, company secretarial, financial services, contracts or corporate administration role (preferably related to aviation);
- Bachelor’s degree in law or other suitable discipline; and
- General knowledge of and interest in aviation and financial services with specific aviation experience an advantage.
- Ability to prioritise and manage a diverse workload in an international business.
