- Description
The Marketing function is responsible for creating relationships with new and existing customers, as well as airframe and engine manufacturers while developing market data, strategic customer plans, targets, initiatives and opportunities for the region.
Responsibilities
- Placement and remarketing of commercial aircraft for lease in the North America and Caribbean regions
- Source new aircraft investments for the region including development of new customers.
- Negotiation of aircraft purchases, leases and lease extensions & restructurings
- Support regional customers through frequent communication & personal contact
- Support technical group as required on aircraft inspections, audits, and lease deliveries and returns
- Support accounting & risk departments on accounts receivable and customer financial issues/conditions
- Primary commercial contact with all regional customers in connection with asset management activities, including monitoring of financial performance, collections, contract issues/resolution and other administrative functions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
- 3-5+ years of aircraft leasing/aviation commercial experience
- Established relationships with airlines in the North American and Caribbean markets
- Strong analytical mindset and strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Commercial outlook and deal mentality
- Ability to work in teams cross functionally and cross culturally
- Ability to work independently and without direct supervision
- Willingness to “get the job done”
- This position will require international and domestic travel
