Aircraft Leasing VP Powerplant

My client is a major aircraft leasing company who are looking to recruit a VP Powerplant

Responsibilities:


  • Management of all engines within the portfolio
  • Manage future maintenance events and forecast and plan appropriately
  • Proactively manage OEM and 3rd party provider and airline maintenance department relationships
  • Work with other members of the senior management team to develop the business offering
  • Build a network of relationships across commercial, marketing and technical engine organisations
  • Build and develop a team of Powerplant experts
  • Implement the annual audit programme
  • Negotiate with OEMs and 3rd party providers and manage supplier relationships
  • Review of lease agreements
  • Define workscopes to meet contracted delivery conditions
  • Management of maintenance reserve claims and relevant sign off


    • Requirements:


  • Bachelor degree in Aeronautical Engineering or licensed Powerplant Engineer
  • 10+ years' relevant experience, ideally within aircraft leasing, airline or OEM/MRO engine management
  • Proven track record analysing engine conditions, evaluating market pricing and providing relevant reports to senior management
  • Commercial acumen
  • Strong negotiation experience
