Aircraft Leasing Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant
My client is a rapid-growth aircraft leasing firm that is currently looking to recruit a Senior Accounts Assistant for their Dublin-based team.
Responsibilities:
- Processing of all purchases
- Management of all invoices, statements, and expenses
- Managing the Accounts Payable ledger daily to ensure timely payments to creditors
- Processing of bank payments and receipts including reconciliation of bank accounts
- Management of cashflows and reviewing funding requests
- Assist with external filings and elections where required
- Assist with preparation of bi-monthly VAT returns
Requirements:
- 4 years track record in a standalone bookkeeping role
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel and Accounting software programs
- Accounts payable experience
- Ability to work independently and without direct supervision
- Very good knowledge of double-entry, fixed asset register, accounts payable and VAT returns
- Ability to maintain all aspects of operating expenses including AP and purchases ledger
