- Description
My client is a growth lessor which is looking to recruit an SVP Risk.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coach the credit risk team
- Build a credit risk management strategy to manage all aspects of risk relating to new and existing customers
- Monitor the risk profile of lessees and the economic environment in relation to airline profitability
- Represent the Risk and Deal teams to discuss the suitability of new transactions and to help restructure transactions
- Assist with risk assessment and reporting on the current portfolio
- Collaborate with the other business functions within the company to ensure efficient execution of transactions
- Work closely with the shareholder and executive team
- Prepare documentation required for regular business reviews and updates
- Any other credit risk duties required by the company
Requirements
- Previous credit risk experience within the aircraft leasing or engine leasing market is essential
- People management and coaching experience
- Strong knowledge of the aviation market and lease transaction structures
