- Description
My client is a high-profile aircraft leasing firm that is looking to recruit a Paralegal to join their New York office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide document and transaction support to the legal team
- Structuring and drafting of various legal documentation and agreements such as lease amendments, side letters, conditions precedent and corporate approvals
- Draft documents supporting lease contracts, restructuring agreements and warranties
- Manage the closing of sales - oversee all necessary documentation is delivered and completed
- Support internal departments in all transactional processes
- Ensure that all transactional documentation is provided, completed and filed accurately and accordingly
- Draft and oversee such documents as leases, contracts, letters etc
- Ensure that all documents are safely and accessibly filed and organised according to company procedure
- Network and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and partners such as airlines, banks etc
Experience:
- Relevant third level qualification
- Previous experience working in an aircraft leasing company, law firm or corporate environment
- Proven track record in drafting and reviewing legal documents
- Self-motivated and keen to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
