Aircraft Leasing SVP Technical
My client is a Private Equity firm which has a requirement for an SVP Technical. This is a unique opportunity that will suit a person with an entrepreneurial outlook.
Responsibilities;
- Support company activities globally, to advise on all technical and asset management-related matters
- Project manage aircraft redeliveries
- Prepare and analyse aircraft and/or engine specifications for acquisition, lease transition, and sale
- Support aircraft acquisitions and disposal deals
- Project manage external consultants
Experience;
- More than 15 years’ experience within the aviation/leasing industry
- Experienced in leading complex delivery and redelivery projects
- Ability to manage technical projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong relationships and broad experience working with key suppliers such as Boeing, Airbus, GE, PW, RR Safran, etc. on technical specifications, BFE procurement, engine selection, Total Care packages, and Warranties
- Understanding of the general risks associated with aircraft leasing
- Understanding of aircraft certification requirements and regulations
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance programs, modifications, reconfiguration work, and aircraft technical records.
- Extensive experience operating at a senior technical level in a leasing company
