About the job
Our client, a global aviation finance company, is experiencing significant growth and has an exciting opportunity for a credit risk professional to take ownership of the risk function.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the risk management and credit underwriting processes.
- Analysing transactions for airline and jurisdiction risk.
- Develop strong customer relationships.
- Provide credit risk analysis to Senior Management and Shareholders.
- Produce internal credit papers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in aircraft leasing or investment banking is strongly preferred, with a focus on risk.
- Strong understanding of the aviation industry and fundamentals around aircraft leasing and financing.
- Proven abilities in analysing companies/airlines and sector trends.
- Strong work ethic and a deep sense of accountability.
- Commercial outlook and deal driven.
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with key external Company interfaces.
- Driven and excellent attention to detail.
