They are seeking an experienced Vice President, Financial Modeling and Analysis to lead their financial modeling efforts and support their strategic financial planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing complex financial models that are integral to the company’s strategic initiatives, including growth and refinancing efforts. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and private equity stakeholders, making it ideal for a seasoned professional eager to apply their expertise in a highly impactful way.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and refinement of complex financial models, ensuring their accuracy and strategic relevance.
- Present financial models and findings to senior management, private equity investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Support new equity investments and contribute to the company’s strategic financial planning and execution.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align financial models with broader business strategies.
- Lend support to new equity investors by providing detailed financial insights and modeling.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your extensive modeling expertise.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience in financial modeling, with a proven ability to build and refine models from the ground up.
- Strong modeling expertise combined with significant commercial acumen.
- Extensive experience in project finance, corporate finance, or similar industries, though aircraft leasing experience is not required.
- Demonstrated success in presenting financial models and strategic insights to senior stakeholders, including private equity investors.
- Experience in the aviation industry, aircraft leasing, or asset management is a plus but not required.
- A strong background in finance or economics, with advanced qualifications in statistics, econometrics, or a related field being highly advantageous.
