- Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established aviation finance firm in Dublin that is seeking a VP Treasury. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing platform with ambitious expansion plans on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, refine, and enhance financial and business models to support strategic planning and forecasting.
- Continuously evaluate and improve forecasting models to maintain accuracy and relevance, presenting insights to senior leadership.
- Oversee monthly internal and external reporting for loan portfolios, including reports for rating agencies, equity stakeholders, and lender groups.
- Review contractual documents (credit agreements, loan servicing agreements, lease contracts, etc.) and ensure compliance with all facility obligations.
- Assist in preparing loan amortization schedules and setting interest rates.
- Generate management and board reports on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams (risk, contracts, commercial) and external partners.
- Identify areas for improvement in treasury operations and implement process enhancements.
Experience:
- Background in finance or banking is essential; exposure to aviation leasing is a strong advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, Power Query) and experience with modelling software/tools (e.g., VBA, SQL, R, Python).
- Demonstrated ability to handle large datasets, perform in-depth analyses, and develop intuitive dashboards.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Familiarity with treasury management systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-time-zone environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
- Candidates must have EU/EEA/UK citizenship or a valid work visa for Ireland.
