Aircraft Leasing – Transaction Lawyer Hong Kong
Our client is a major aircraft leasing company and they are recruiting for a transaction lawyer to join their legal team based in Hong Kong. Excellent opportunity to join a high profile and niche lessor.
Responsibilities- Deliver in-house legal advice, management, guidance and support to the company in the execution and administration of aircraft acquisitions and sales, aircraft operating leases, engine leasing transactions and associated finance transactions.
- Support the General Counsel in the provision of legal advice regarding compliance and transaction structuring
- Manage relationships with external legal advisors.
- Manage transactions from start to finish.
Skills & Experience
- Law degree, with a minimum of 2 years PQE with aviation leasing or finance experience.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Private practice experience (aircraft leasing)
- Ideally also in-house with an aircraft leasing firm.
- Experience in Sale Lease Back /Operating Lease negotiations and drafting
- Aircraft trading and aircraft financing experience
- Very strong experience in managing complex transactions
