About the Job:
A global aviation business is seeking a Procurement Director to lead its aircraft material and component supply chain. The successful candidate will oversee inventory flows, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely delivery of critical parts and equipment for fleet operations and new aircraft production. This is a strategic leadership role in a fast-paced environment where cross-functional collaboration is key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement, storage, audit, and disposal of aircraft parts.
- Liaise with suppliers, MROs, and logistics providers to track and ensure deliverables.
- Maintain and interpret purchasing and inventory data across systems.
- Develop and enforce supply chain strategies, including supplier agreements.
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree and 3–5 years in aerospace, or 5–10 years in procurement/material control in an airline or MRO.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with FAA/EASA compliance for aeronautical materials.
- Experience interpreting complex supply agreements and technical documentation.
