Aircraft Leasing Engineering Director
My client is a leading aircraft lessor recruiting an Engineering Director to join its engineering leadership team in Dublin or Dubai.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely engineering solutions to support aircraft transitions, repossessions, and modifications.
- Oversee technical specifications for new and used aircraft, including avionics, interiors, and systems configurations.
- Liaise with OEMs and vendors to resolve complex engineering and regulatory issues.
- Analyse and communicate upcoming airworthiness directives and regulatory changes affecting the fleet.
- Provide costed technical proposals in support of commercial and asset strategy initiatives.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in aircraft leasing or airline engineering functions, with strong technical leadership capability.
- Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a licensed engineer with equivalent experience.
- Deep knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance regulations (FAA/EASA), and engineering documentation.
