- Description
We have been exclusively retained by a fast-growing aviation finance platform seeking a Senior Paralegal / Transaction Manager to join its Dublin-based legal and commercial operations team. This position will support the execution of complex leasing and financing transactions from the early negotiation phase through to aircraft delivery and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the legal and commercial functions throughout the full transaction lifecycle, from LOI to delivery and redelivery.
- Draft, review, and maintain transaction documentation, ensuring all commercial, legal, and insurance provisions are accurately reflected.
- Monitor contractual timelines and deliverables, including options, delivery milestones, and other key obligations.
- Manage Letters of Credit and other financial instruments in line with transaction requirements.
- Act as a central point of contact between internal teams and external stakeholders — including airlines, legal counsel, manufacturers, and financiers — to ensure timely and coordinated transaction execution.
- Identify and mitigate risks or issues that could impact transaction closings or aircraft transitions.
- Ensure that all Conditions Precedent and Subsequent are satisfied within agreed deadlines.
- Maintain clear and concise communication across teams regarding transaction status and progress.
- Support negotiation of insurance-related provisions and manage updates to insurance records, renewals, and claims.
- Assist in maintaining document repositories and ensure compliance with internal record-keeping standards.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and assist in system enhancement initiatives.
- Attend aircraft delivery or return events as required.
Requirements
- Strong experience within aircraft leasing, legal transaction management, or aviation contract administration.
- Excellent experience with lease documentation, delivery processes, and transaction structures.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator with strong relationship management skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
- Working knowledge of aviation insurance and risk documentation would be advantageous.
- Flexible and proactive, with a willingness to travel as required to support transaction closings.
- Legal, business, or finance degree (or equivalent professional experience) preferred.
