Aircraft Leasing – Qualified Accountant
We are recruiting an Aircraft Leasing Qualified Accountant for an aircraft leasing company based in Dublin City Centre.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be exposed to numerous areas of the finance function with specific attention to the following:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Coordinating statutory financial statements and related packs
- Collaborate with the external audit teams throughout the year
- Preparation and review of bank reconciliations
- Preparation of bi-monthly VAT returns
- Review, accounting and reporting of all forms of company costs and expenses
- Assist in the administration, management and development of the general ledger platform
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as required
- Work with external advisors where necessary to provide technical accounting papers & advice to the business
- Provide technical accounting support, guidance & training to members of the finance team
- Responsibility for the financial control for a suite of aircraft owning entities
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant
- 2+ years PQE ideally in a large accounting practice
- Excellent academic record
- Attention to detail and numerical ability
- A positive team approach, capable of working on own initiative
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive attitude, problem solver
- Experience of working through complex accounting issues
- Familiarity with Sunsystems, IT2 or Leasepoint is a plus
