Head of Tax, Aircraft Leasing
My client is a leading aircraft leasing company in Dublin which is looking for a Head of Tax.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of all tax-related matters for the group and will play a senior commercial role in the company.
Responsibilities:- Manage the group policy in relation to global tax requirements
- Responsible for structuring and implementation of both Irish and international tax provisions
- Responsibility for accurate completion and filing of all corporation tax returns and tax payments
- Manage relationships with relevant tax authorities and third-party tax advisors
- Manage relationships with shareholders and investors
- Provide tax support and advice on all aircraft transaction-related tax matters through deal team involvement
- Ensure the most tax efficient structure is utilised in all aircraft transactions
- Lead in identifying tax risks within the Group
- Lead the management of tax compliance in the Group
- Oversee accounting for taxes in the Group’s consolidated financial statements and statutory accounts
Requirements:
- 8+ years PQE in aircraft leasing tax
- Experience managing tax related matters for multiple aircraft transactions
- Qualified accountant and tax professional
- Outstanding influencing and relationship management skills
- Minimum of 8 years previous aircraft leasing tax experience essential (in-house or advisory)
