AVP Procurement
A well established aircraft leasing company are looking for an experienced Procurement professional to join their team in Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement of parts, materials, engineering providers and certification support.
AVP Procurement Responsibilities:
- Working with the Technical team, manage budgets for aircraft transition projects
- Source parts as required for technical projects
- Negotiate and coordinate with vendors on price, lead time, payment terms
- Management of customs and shipping
- Ensure all certification paperwork is obtained and up to date
- Manage purchase orders and invoices
- Create and mange tracking of parts and services to be ordered, in transit, waiting receipt etc
- Arrange storage of excess parts
- Manage the administrative assistant
- Management of MyBoeingFleet and Airbuswold
- Assist in the setting up of GTAs with vendors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation related field or licenced aircraft engineer
- 3+ years’ experience in a procurement role within the aircraft leasing industry or 5+ years’ experience within an airline or MRO
- Knowledge and understanding of tags and certification requirements for various aircraft parts
- Working knowledge of MyBoeingFleet and Airbusworld
- Strong understanding of airworthiness requirements (FAA/EASA/CAAC)
- Experience negotiating and strong understanding of complex written agreements
