Senior Software Engineer
We are now recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer to join a leading innovative company, based in Dublin city centre.
What you will do:
- Design, build, and deploy performant and scalable solutions by applying algorithms, data structures, and development best practices
- Work on big data platforms, create complex data processing pipelines for data ingestion and data management
- Contribute to code review process.
- Come up with architectural proposal and work with other lead engineers/architects to ensure right technology decisions are made
- Clarify requirements and implement solutions that encompass analysis.
- Ensure high quality solutions by design and build unit tests, integration test, load test, and user acceptance tests.
- Participate in all phases of project development life cycle
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Java and/or Scala Ecosystem knowledge/experience
- 2+ years of Spark, big data ecosystem ETL coding experience
- Strong analytical skills and capable of influencing on technical issues
- Experience with Oracle, SQLServer, PostgreSQL
- Professional Software Development experience with standard agile practice, CI/CD required
