Infrastructure Support Engineer Market Leading Company Dublin

We have been retained by a rapid growth Tech Company to recruit an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join their Dublin based HQ. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and driven Infrastructure Support Engineer with experience working within a team and working under pressure.               

What you will do as Infrastructure Support Engineer:

• Work with the team in issue resolution and developing the support system.
• Identify potential system issues and implement process improvements to increase efficiencies.
• Share necessary quality documentation internally with relevant departments.
• Assist in peer training, sharing knowledge and building overall team skills.
• Triage any support issues that arise using Jira software.
• Implement improvements in the resiliency, scalability and redundancy of systems.
• Ensure tickets are closed and the issue is fixed indefinitely.
• Use languages such as Bash, Fabric and Salt Stack to develop scripting and automation that will be used across multiple different processes.

• Strong experience in Bash or Python, Jira or equivalent software.
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience within the following:
  • Selenium.
  • SOAPUI.
  • Java.
  • NoSQL.
• Working experience with a version control system.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Extensive experience within a Linux Enterprise environment.
• Automation experience e.g Chef, puppet, Ansible, etc.
