My client is a high profile multinational which is looking for a Facilities Space Planner. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapid growth company in an interesting space planner role.
Responsibilities- Develop space allocation plans, options and schematic plans to meet short and long term master space plans
- Prepare presentations for Executive Staff review
- Co-ordinate projects and implement move options
- Evaluate space utilization for departments/areas and identify opportunities to maximize efficiency
- Perform headcount/space allocation analyses and provided detailed/accurate report of this for review
- Regular meetings with management to discuss space requirements, reorganization updates, project move planning
- Support miscellaneous space redesign space, reconfigurations, etc.
- Log employee data and building drawings in various databases
- Assist with International/Remote office space planning support as needed
- Experience with Archibus or Serraview and Manhattan databases to detail information for management
- Proven tactical and strategic space planning expertise at a global company
- Experience working with space issues creatively, promptly, and cost-consciously
- 3 years + professional facilities planning or space planning experience
- Ability to train, manage and lead others in Space Planning
- Excellent communication skills
- An energetic individual and a team player
- Detailed working Knowledge with AutoCAD and Archibus or any other computer-aided facility management system
- Experience and working knowledge of MicroSoft Office
- Familiarity with systems furniture
