Business Development Executive
Our client, a dynamic and expanding commercial finance provider, currently require a Business Development Executive (BDE) to join their team and support acquisition activity across a variety of SME and corporate sectors.
Based in Dublin but with a national remit, the team working to implement an agreed sales strategy, drive new business, develop a pipeline and convert opportunities into clients.
As such, the BDE's responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the development and implementation of a sales strategy for the region
- Supporting the targeting of key introducers and influencers within the region
- Ensure the brand is promoted effectively Assisting colleagues representing the business at appropriate fora and groups, ensuring appropriate marketing, PR and networking is undertaken
- Supporting the delivery of sales to exceed targets
- Liaise with and build effective relationships with internal teams (Risk, Marketing, Operations)
- Provide assistance across the business development team members
- Maintain appropriate compliance and regulatory requirements
- Undertake ad hoc projects and training as required
Upon completion of a tailored 18 month development programme the successful candidate will take responsibility for developing and maintaining their own portfolio.
It is anticipated that applicants can demonstrate the following key experience, skills and attributes:
- Graduated 2:1 or higher in a Business or Finance related discipline
- 2 - 3 years post-graduation experience in a commercial environment (ideally in finance, banking, recoveries, accounting or similar)
- A strong appreciation of or direct experience of credit risk process
- Demonstrable relationship management and sales skills
- Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
- High level of numeracy and excellent analytical skills
- Drive, motivation and integrity
This is a permanent role with development opportunities in an increasingly busy market place.
Remuneration package is comprised of a base salary of 30 - 35k, bonus, healthcare and pension. Mileage and expenses will also be provided.- Assist in the development and implementation of a sales strategy for the region
