Senior Platform Engineer – EMEA HQ, Dublin City Centre
In collaboration with a rapid-growth cloud company we seek a Senior Platform Engineer for the EMEA HQ in Dublin City Centre. You’ll be joining a compassionate team of Engineers that work with distributed systems in a highly scalable environment. If you’ve experience with SaaS Software Development and great interpersonal skills, then this position could really suit you.
What you’ll get to do:- Support our customers with tender loving care, easing their pain as part of a compassionate Engineering team.
- Collaborate on ideas with massive scale from conception to production.
- Work on distributed systems and support solutions in this environment.
- Sensitively monitor performance on Back End and commit to the best known Engineering practises, nurturing talented people along the way.
- Look at building truly sustainable SaaS solutions by agreeing on a considerate approach to your work.
- Cooperate on test automation frameworks.
- 5+ years Software Development experience working with highly scalable SaaS Systems.
- Excellent understanding of micro-services and event-driven concepts.
- Trust that you can work at speed, bringing conceptions to fruition.
- An inquisitive nature, you’ll spend time prototyping and researching to push the envelope on what we do.
- Experience with functional programming concepts like Closure, Elixir, Haskell or Scala an advantage.
