Senior Data Engineer – Online Tech Company, Immediate Interview.

We are looking for a talented Data Engineer for a high profile client in Dublin City Centre. This position is within a Big Data team that works on distributed systems and Micro Services. As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll take ownership of data solutions and deal with trillions of data values. This position will suit someone with a passion for Data Systems and solving big data problems.

What you’ll get to do:

• Work in a highly talented team on developing data solutions using SQL, Java, PowerShell, Scala and more
• Provide full stack solutions in collaboration with leaders across the organisation
• Develop batch-driven and real-time data flows
• Solve some of the biggest data problems you can imagine
• Work with the latest technology including AWS
• Research and identify trends in technology and apply them in your work

What you’ll need:

• Computer Science Degree qualified or similar
• 7+ years of experience working as an Engineer
• Excellent knowledge of Java
• Excellent knowledge of SQL
• Strong ability to develop solutions with Shell Scripting, Scala and other languages
• Big data expertise
• Ability to work on real-time data
