Description


Our client, an established and renowned institution, currently require an experienced HR professional to join their team for an initial 9-month contract with a firm view to permanency.

Responsible for an eclectic mix of staff (c100), the successful candidate will manage the overall provision of policies, services and employee related programmes/projects across the full HR spectrum.

Reporting directly to the Head of HR, responsibilities will include;


  • Managing all transactional and operational HR deliverables
  • Providing HR advice to employees and managers
  • Developing and implementing a training framework for all levels of staff (including senior management)
  • Coordinating and reporting on the provision of ER, work-sharing, recruitment and training initiatives.
  • Taking a lead role in the introduction and roll out of a new HR Information System and the streamlining of HR reporting
  • Supporting the HR Director in the development and implementation of organisational change and a new HR Strategy
  • Managing regulatory and compliance adherence and issues
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the HR team as well as ad hoc projects



  • It is anticipated that the successful candidate can demonstrate the following skills, attributes and experience:


  • Appropriate HR Qualification and CIPD Membership
  • Experience coordinating core HR activities
  • Excellent working knowledge of employment legislation and HR organisational policy
  • Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong experience of HRIS systems (roll out experience would be advantageous)
  • Good ER background (experience of unionised environment would be advantageous)
  • Ambition and drive to develop and deliver a class-leading HR proposition



  • This is a 9-month contract with a firm view towards permanency.

    Salary to 48k p.a
