Data Manager : GreenField Project with a major Global Tech Company in South Dublin
We are working exclusively with a global company that is establishing a Greenfield Project team in South Dublin. They are looking for a Data Manager to join this new and exciting Greenfield Data Management Project. Working in tandem with the Team Manager, The Data Manager will combine their Data Management knowledge with stakeholder management expertise to establish the first Data Management team of it's kind in this global company. This position will suit someone with a passion for quality Data Management and an excellent ability to build relationships at multiple levels. The Greenfield team will scale excellently with time so fantastic career opportunities are available.
What you'll get to do:
- Collaborate with the Team Manager on the definition of Data Management strategies and drive the delivery of these.
- Influence the development of Data programs including Data Analytics and Data Delivery.
- Represent your team at stakeholder meetings, acting as a key point of contact.
- Support the Management and implementation of Data Governance across the department.
- Provide key documentations for Data with clear definitions that are easy to understand.
- Ensure high quality standards are maintained and best practices are implemented though smart Management Information and business report creation.
Here's what you need:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst or in an Information Systems Design role.
- Experience in Data Governance, Data Modelling, Data Quality, Data Management or similar.
- Excellent ability to manage relationships with stakeholders within cross-functional teams on multiple levels.
- Expertise in best practises and policies for Data including: Governance, Management, Quality, Usage and Architecture.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and problems in order to successfully delivery on expectations.
- Awareness of upcoming Data Protection policies and related challenges.
- A BSc or MA in a related discipline is an advantage.
