Our client is a leading global software company and they are currently looking for a HR Specialist to join their team based in Dublin on a six-month fixed term contract to start immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Provide coaching and advice to managers on performance management and corrective action to improve performance processes.
- Handle employee restructuring and termination as well as providing appropriate legal advice and interpretation on employee legislation.
- Provide deep jurisdictional/ cultural expertise in a dedicated region or area.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the business and carry out investigations on employee complaints and grievances.
- Participate and lead projects related to policy development and process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, Qualification in Employment Law and Higher certification in Human Resource Management.
- Between 5 – 7 years’ HR experience in a global organisation with 5 years’ experience in employee relations.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Fluency in one other European language is also preferable.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Irish employment legislation and employment practices specific to Ireland.
- Broad HR generalist knowledge which can be used to reduce business, reputational and financial risk.
- Ability to deliver high levels of performance and use effective listening, probing and investigatory skills to handle complex and sensitive enquiries and situations.
