Aircraft Leasing Tax Assistant - Fixed Term Contract
My client is looking for a Tax Assistant to join their team on a fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading aircraft leasing company and gain valuable industry experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of the tax provision calculation for audits
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and supporting work papers
- Process tax payments and refunds
- Liaise with customers to answer any tax related enquiries
- Ensure database is up to date and accurate
- Adhoc work requested by other members of the tax team
- Administrative assistance as required
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Business, Commerce or Economics
- AITI newly qualified/part qualified
- Previous tax experience in a similar role - 1 to 2 years
- Strong mathematical and analysis skills
- Experience with accounting systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Understanding and/or interest in the aircraft leasing industry is desired
