- Description
A global aircraft leasing company with a strong fleet, is looking for Junior Powerplant Engineer to join their team based in Dublin.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the team with the monitoring of assigned engine assets on lease or in storage
- Liaise with customers, engine manufacturers, aviation authorities and other relevant third parties regarding the delivery/ redelivery, maintenance and other technical aspects of engine management
- Assist with future engine costs forecasting
- Obtain and update technical records
- Provide technical assistance to other internal departments in the organisation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or licensed Aircraft Engineer
- Experience working with an aircraft lessor, MRO or airline
- Experience budgeting and forecasting for engine expenses and removals
- Strong knowledge of engine operation, maintenance requirement, factors influencing performance and shop visit drivers
- Proficient with MS Office – Word, Excel
