Sales Director - French Market (160K OTE)

An American Fintech company, with an EMEA HQ in Dublin, are looking for a Sales Director to join their team to manage and grow the business in the French market.

You will be responsible for the management of existing accounts in France along with extensive business development in the market.

This role will suit an experienced and entrepreneurial salesperson, who is passionate about working in a start-up environment. Initially you would be an individual contributor with the potential to build a sales team.

Progression in this role is strong and clear - they want someone who can grow into the European Sales Director role and break into new territories across EMEA.

What you'll do


  • Manage existing accounts and develop new business in the French market
  • Manage the full sales cycle and existing pipeline
  • Interact with business introducers, vendors, financial institutions and the customer success team to achieve agreed sales targets
  • Actively grow the client base and support the business through teamwork, can do attitude and self-motivation
  • Use initiative to develop new customer segments for specific products
  • Work closely with technology partners to deliver on indirect sales in France
  • Meet and exceed business objectives and targets and proactively target new customers
  • Manage relationships with clients and continuously network in order to grow the business

  • What you'll need


  • Native French speaker
  • 6+ years in a full cycle sales role, including acquisition, retention and business development experience
  • Sales experience within the French market
  • Experience in other European markets an advantage
  • A strong understanding of ecommerce and online financial services
  • Ideally a good understanding of industries using KYC (know your customer) online
  • Ability to travel to between France and Dublin (once or twice a month)
