Aviation Design Engineer/Avionics CVE
A Dublin based aviation technical services client is looking for an experienced Design Engineer and Avionics Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) to join their Dublin team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, review and issue of design changes for company's customers.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the relevant approvals and airworthiness requirements
- Ensure that design, manufacture and testing is carried out to the required standard within the appropriate approvals
- Preparation and development of design solutions
- Management of various customer projects
- Prepare, present and sign off on customer quotations
- Responsible for the day-to-day Avionics CVE tasks
- Liaise with suppliers, customers and OEMs
- Represent the business from a technical perspective
- Lead troubleshooting and system redesigns
- Ensure quality and safety targets and objectives in respect of design, manufacture and testing are achieved
- Ensuring the requirements of Part 21 and other applicable regulations are complied with
Requirements:
- Engineering specialist in one of the mentioned disciplines (Electric/ Avionic/ Systems/ Mechanical)
- Avionics qualification e.g. EASA Part 21, Airbus Structures and Systems
- CVE qualification
- MS Office products and AutoCAD
