Aircraft Leasing Tax Manager - Shannon
My client, a leading aircraft leasing firm is looking for a Tax Manager to join their team in Shannon.
This is a fixed term, 1 year contract.
The successful candidate will assist in the management of all tax related matters and play a key role on the deal team providing tax advice and input on all transactions.
Responsibilities:- Responsibility for accurate completion and filing of all corporation tax returns and tax payments
- Provide tax support and advice to other internal departments through deal team involvement
- Identify tax efficiencies and planning opportunities and implement as necessary
- Take a lead in identifying tax risks within the Group and take a role in managing tax compliance in the Group
- Manage the relationship with relevant tax authorities
Requirements:- 2+ years PQE
- AITI or ACA/ACCA qualified
- Experience or exposure to aircraft leasing industry advantageous
- Big 4 practice background
- Strong understanding of current and deferred tax
- Strong understanding of information systems such as Revenues Online Services, IXBRL and Alpha Tax
