Head of Analytics Research
We are recruiting for a rapid growth technology company, who are seeking a Head of Analytics Research to lead a team of data scientists and programmers on the R&D and delivery of their projects. As a Head of Analytics Research you will have extensive experience in dealing and researching with vast data sets and communicating data-driven understandings to the senior business audience.
Responsibilities:
- Guiding the data scientist team to discover business insights and solve business issues by using machine learning and data visualization techniques.
- Strategically creating new and effective ways to solve complex issues in the company.
- Thoughtfully leading and supporting data science applications and its methods.
- Evaluating new business opportunities with the company's clients, internal teams and stakeholders.
- Helping in project improvements and overall development of the business.
Experience:
- Third level degree along with PhD in relevant field.
- Extensive experience of working in Distributed Computing Environments (DCE), open-source analytics languages, quantitative analysis /data science, fraud detection and risk models.
- Proven experience of leading a large team of data scientists.
