Aircraft Leasing OEM Relationship Director
My client, a leading aircraft leasing company is looking for an OEM Relationship Director to join a growing team based in Dublin.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with airlines and aircraft manufacturers.
- Negotiation of leasing terms and contracts with OEMs.
- Develop and maintain long term relationships with OEMs.
- Manage a small team
- Maintenance cost negotiation with MRO's.
- Maintaining an excellent relationship with OEM's, operators and appraisers to keep fully up-to-date on all trends (market prices, leasing terms, maintenance reserves and lease rates) in the industry.
- Assist with negotiation of new lease agreements with engine manufacturers by review of proposed lease terms and conditions.
- Identify marketing opportunities and work closely with other internal teams for development and negotiations.
Requirements:
- 3rd Level Degree.
- 8+ years' experience working in the aviation or aircraft leasing industry.
- Experience working with an OEM, ideally Airbus or Boeing.
- An in-depth understanding of the way airlines work with aircraft leasing companies.
- Previous experience in negotiating and people management.
- Ability to multitask and to see the bigger picture.
- Excellent knowledge and understand of aircraft contracts and financing.
- Very strong commercial awareness.
