VP Sales -Aviation Engineering
My client is part of a major Asian Aviation Engineering, CAMO and Lease Return company. They have recently set up an office in Dublin and are looking for a VP Sales to join their team.
The Role
The VP Sales will primarily be responsible for the development of the US and European regions. You will be responsible for maximising sales and revenue from the commercial aircraft portfolio across the region and for building, developing and maintaining high level relationships with customers and senior aviation industry contacts.
Responsibilities:
- Act as an internal expert of the region, understand and brief the company on what drives demand in the market.
- Developing and implementing marketing programmes and strategies
- Managing relationships with airlines in the region
- Initiating developing, negotiating and closing of new sales and leasing opportunities
- Participating in OEM orders and aircraft portfolio acquisition negotiation
- Negotiating complex cross- border transactions and agreements in the regions
- Maintaining and sharing a thorough understanding of current and future market trends
- Manage and work with broader deal teams
Requirements:
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree.
- At least7 years' experience from a commercial aircraft leasing company, aviation technical services provider, CAMO, Part 21 or lease return organisation
- Extremely well known and informed about the Us and/or European markets, its opportunities, airlines, OEMs, MROs, lessors.
- Extensive exposure to big ticket negotiations in complex transactions in diverse cultural jurisdictions.
- Strong current OEM and airline contacts in the region.
- Strong knowledge of operating lease terms, asset security issues, delivery and return conditions and aviation insurance.
- Good understanding of technical issues on Airbus and Boeing aircraft, ideally with significant experience of transitioning aircraft.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
