Business Analytics Manager (Global Payments)
My client is currently recruiting for a Business Analytics Manager (Global Payments) to join their team based in Dublin. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Global Director of Payments.
Responsibilities:
- Work to create platforms for fact based decision support across Global Financial Services and Payments.
- Develop business analytics critical to develop and deploy Payments priority initiatives/deliverables including the deployment of a Global Payment function, stabilization and growth of the customer portfolio, and international expansion and Payments capabilities.
- Be involved with applied analytics algorithm supporting the payments center capability.
- Participate in continual improvements to the model incorporating statistical analysis of transactional history, key payments and processing variables, and analysis of financial flows to optimize PB payment processing.
- Work closely with the Global Payment functions' Leader and manage the foreign exchange risk management program.
- Perform reassessment of authorization currencies with sharp focus on underlying economics and impact on business model.
- Partner with Engineering to productize capabilities and build redundancies around the operating model modeling.
- Work closely with all relevant functions including Treasury, IT, Accounting, Finance, Tax, Sales, and Marketing.
- Partner with Sales to help coach, mentor, team members re salient trends and client advisory opportunities where the company can differentiate through Payment and Financing thought leadership.
Requirements:
- Experience working within Financial Services
- Degree or its equivalent in Finance, Economics or a related field
- Experience with financing and payments business models
- Experience with payment and FX settlement processes
- Experience with FX trading/derivatives market; regulatory frameworks and compliance within financial services; and financial modelling.
