Aircraft Leasing VP Engine Management

A major aircraft leasing client based in Dublin is looking for a VP Engine Management to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engine Management / Powerplant professional to join a global, leading leasing company.

Responsibilities:


  • Management of a portfolio of engines
  • Provide input into lease negotiations of engine delivery/redelivery conditions
  • Provide engine technical support during aircraft transitions
  • Manage future maintenance events and forecast and plan appropriately
  • Monitor fleet technical issues
  • Negotiate MRO agreements
  • Manage and develop relationships with MROs and OEMs
  • Review of shop visit workscopes to ensure compliance with lease agreements
  • Assist the Lessee in defining workscopes
  • Representation at shop table inspections
  • Management of maintenance reserve claims and relevant sign-off


  • Requirements:


  • Bachelor degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Licensed Aircraft Engineer
  • 7+ years' relevant experience in a similar role with a leasing company or airline
  • Aircraft leasing experience preferred
  • Proven track record analysing engine conditions, evaluating market pricing and providing relevant reports to senior management
  • Knowledge of aircraft lease agreements
  • Strong negotiation experience
