Head of Powerplant/Engine Management - Aviation Technical Services
An aviation technical services client is looking for Head of Powerplant/Engines to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities:- Management of all engines within the portfolio
- Manage future maintenance events and forecast and plan appropriately
- Proactively manage OEM and 3rd party provider and airline maintenance department relationships
- Work with other members of the senior management team to develop the business offering
- Build a network of relationships across commercial, marketing and technical engine organisations
- Build and develop a team of Powerplant experts
- Implement the annual audit programme
- Negotiate with OEMs and 3rd party providers and manage supplier relationships
- Review of lease agreements
- Define workscopes to meet contracted delivery conditions
- Management of maintenance reserve claims and relevant sign off
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Aeronautical Engineering or licensed Powerplant Engineer
- 10+ years' relevant experience, ideally within aircraft leasing, airline or OEM/MRO engine management
- Proven track record analysing engine conditions, evaluating market pricing and providing relevant reports to senior management
- People management experience
- Commercial acumen
- Strong negotiation experience
