Regulatory Reporting Accountant
A market-leading Financial Services company is looking for a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join their Dublin team. This is an opportunity to work as part of a global team based out of their Dublin office.
About my client:
My client is a high-profile multinational and offers excellent internal career opportunities. This is a contract role with a view to permanency.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and resolve any issues to internal stakeholders.
- Present periodic updates to Finance Leadership.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to make sure all requests and any issues are addressed timely and accurately.
- Make reconciliations of output against financial accounts ensuring any differences are cleared in advance or are explained where it is appropriate.
- Utilize regulatory reporting production and delivery systems.
- Plan detailed risk-based operating procedures and checklists focusing heavily on internal controls.
- Assist the global Regulatory Reporting and Governance team in any related initiatives outside of EMEA.
- Update periodic reporting submissions to Financial Regulators in the EMEA market.
- Aid the integration of acquisitions and products by managing data requirements, the process set up and transition and reporting obligations.
- Forecast and keep track of relevant regulatory metrics and assess the development of regulations in EMEA to ensure advance awareness and preparatory tasks are undertaken early to implement foreseen changes.
Requirements:
- Qualified accounting professional with 5+ years’ experience in any of the following: e-commerce/payments/financial services industries, MA (or equivalent) pref
- Expertise in sourcing, interrogating and manipulating data in various forms/code from multiple systems/platform
- Analytical and problem-solving experience with a strong focus on quality assurance of outpu
