- Description
A market leading aircraft leasing client is recruiting a Finance Director to join their team in Irvine, California, USA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile aviation lessor.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with various divisions to prepare and manage annual budgets
- Review and approve accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash deposits and bank reconciliations
- Transaction management and coordination
- Management of day to day treasury activities
- Perform account reconciliations and analyse balance sheet activity and other general ledger accounts
- Review and approve monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Manage annual audits
- Mentoring of financial accountant
- Manage investment of funds and approve payments by check or wire transfer
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with 5 years + PQE
- Degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline
- Experience in the aviation industry is advantageous
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Eligible to work in the US
