- Description
A major aircraft leasing client is looking for a Powerplant Director to join their expanding team in Miami.
Responsibilities:- Management of a portfolio of engines
- Provide shop visit and LLP removal forecasting with diagnosis and analysis for all engine and APU types within the fleet
- Manage future maintenance events and forecast and plan appropriately
- Proactively manage OEM and 3rd party provider and airline maintenance department relationships
- Participate in tabletop inspections
- Negotiate with OEMs and 3rd party providers and manage supplier relationships
- Provide support to lease agreements and development of lease language to preserve engine values while minimising aircraft delivery costs
- Define workscopes to meet contracted delivery conditions
- Support aircraft transition process
- Management of maintenance reserve claims and relevant sign off of invoices
- Forecast future engine costs
- Ensure all engine and APU documentation is compliant with lease and kept up to date and uploaded on to system
Requirements:- Bachelor degree in Aeronautical Engineering and/or licensed Powerplant Engineer
- 3+ years' relevant experience in a similar role
- Aircraft leasing experience preferred
- Extensive experience with commercial engines including GE/CFMI/RR/PW
- Proven track record analysing engine conditions, evaluating market pricing and providing relevant reports to senior management
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office
