- Description
My client is a growth aircraft leasing firm which is recruiting for a Legal Executive to join the legal team.
Responsibilities;
- Leading transaction documentation from LOI to closing with airlines, aircraft lessors and financial institutions
- Drafting, negotiating and executing aircraft leasing and financing transactions documentation including aircraft lease agreements, sale and purchase agreements, lease restructuring agreements, novation agreements and financing agreements
- Act as the point of contact for legal aspects of contract negotiations with airlines, banks, aircraft buyers and sellers, manufacturers and maintenance providers
- Co-ordinate with deal teams and coordinate input from the technical, credit, finance and origination departments and external advisors including legal and tax advisers as part of the transaction closing process
Requirements- Experienced legal professional with 4+ years’ aircraft leasing experience
- Law degree
- Experience in commercial litigation, contractual disputes and EU law
- Contract review, drafting and legal writing skills
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Experienced in managing and tracking aircraft leasing transactions
