- Description
My client is an aircraft lessor which is looking to expand their legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growth lessor.
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-house legal advice, management, guidance and support to the company in the execution and administration of aircraft acquisitions and sales, aircraft operating leases, engine leasing transactions and associated finance transactions.
- Manage transactions to include from start to finish to include engine and aircraft lease drafting and review, NDA reviews and credit agreement reviews
- Other general legal tasks to support the aircraft and engine leasing business.
- Support the General Counsel in the provision of legal advice regarding compliance and transaction structuring
- Manage relationships with external legal advisors.
- Manage corporate secretary matters
Experience
- Law degree, with a minimum of 3-8 years PQE with aircraft leasing experience.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Private practice experience (aircraft leasing)
- Ideally also in-house with an aircraft leasing firm.
- Aircraft trading and aircraft financing experience
- Experience managing lease negotiations from LOI to delivery
