- Description
My client is a high-profile aircraft lessor which has a requirement for an Accounts Receivable Senior Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading aircraft leasing firm.
Responsibilities:- Lead the Operations team (responsible for airline invoicing and cash collections)
- Provide analysis of movement in AR for the relevant period including quarter on quarter analysis.
- Support business operations in the management of a portfolio of deferrals
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes in conjunction with other departments.
- Maintain and improve reporting controls
- Help with the preparation and maintenance of documentation on accounting systems procedures and internal controls.
- Design and improve financial modelling within the AR team.
- Preparation of information for both External/ Internal Audits as required.
- Analyse and report on lessee exposures and cash flows to the senior management team.
- All job-related and ad hoc duties as assigned.
- Gain an understanding of the full end-to-end process and contribute to the enhancement of the knowledge of the AR’s process across the team and business.
Requirements:- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or a relevant postgraduate/masters education
- A minimum of two years experience of direct people management
- Hands-on (willing to understand the details of complex issues) and a team player
- Advanced Excel skills and in-depth knowledge of well-known advanced accounting / ERP
- systems
- Experience with CMS or SUN an advantage
- Relevant experience in an international environment including a big four audit firm
- Excellent communication skills
